Please note that this guide is only intended to provide a general indication of your bra size.  Please also bear in mind that sizes vary between manufacturers and between different styles of bra. So what fits perfectly in one style or brand, may not in another.

To determine your bra size, you take two measurements -

1. Under bust Measurement
Measure under your bust:
if the measurement is an even number of inches this is your band size
if the measurement is an odd number of inches add one inch to get your band size

(For example, if your under bust measurement is 35ins., add 1 inch to obtain bra band size 36, if your under bust measurement is 34ins this is your band size)

2. Over bust Measurement
Measure round the fullest part of your bust to determine Cup size.
If the over bust measurement is the same as the figure determined above, your Cup size is A.
1in.
more gives Cup size B
2in.
more gives Cup size C
3in.
more gives Cup size D
4in.
more gives Cup size DD
5in.
more gives Cup size E
and so on…..

Examples:
Under bust measurement of 32ins. = band size 32
Over bust measurement of 38ins. = Cup F

So the correct fitting would be 32F

Under bust measurement of 35ins. + 1 inch = band size 36
Over bust measurement of 42ins. = Cup FF

So the correct fitting would be 36FF

Are you wearing your correct size?

Bra rides up at back? . . . adjust hook and eye closure to tighten, loosen straps or try a smaller band size (for example 36 instead of 38).

Band digs in? . . . try one band size larger (for example 36 instead of 34) or opt for a bra with a wider band.

Sides bulge? . . . order one band size larger (for example 36 rather than 34) or choose a style that provides more support and cup coverage.

Cups overflow? . . . order one cup size larger (for example C to D) or one band size larger (for example 36 to 38).

Sore shoulders? . . . loosen bra or opt for a bra with wider, or padded straps.

Bustline sags? . . . shorten straps or choose a firmer support style.

Underwires pinch or poke? . . . order one cup size larger (for example C to D) or try a wire free (soft cup) style.

Straps slip? . . . tighten straps or opt for bra with wider straps.
